CODE 4X4 FACILITY
 |
| Our front desk and waiting area is
comfortable, our sales and service records are fully computerized. |
CODE 4x4 is located in a roomy building with
a showroom-display area, customer waiting and restroom, front
counter and office space, two service bays with large capacity
vehicle hoists, and three long-term bays for project vehicles.
We also have several dedicated workstations for jobs such
as gear work and fabrication, and a filling station for C02 bottles
(PowerTanks).
Our clean, well organized shop is equipped
with computerized, state-of-art diagnostic equipment, fluid exchanging
machines for flushing vital fluids on your vehicles, and EPA
approved methods for handling spent fluids.
We can set up your differential gears and
install lockers with the proper tools (pinion depth gauge, digital
mics, shims, set-up bearings, and a 25 ton press). CODE 4X4 has
a line-up bar and attachments to check housings for trueness,
and a fixture/jig to straighten bent housings.
Several "tricks" learned
over the years have taught us how to reinforce weak housings
by inserting a tube inside the existing tubes to add strength.
Any custom shop should be known for its welding
skills. Chris Overacker is our master welder. Be it a bumper,
roll cage, complex suspension bracketry or repairing a cracked
frame, give Chris or our highly trained employees some welding
wire, supply electricity, and you'll be amazed at the results.
Of course once you find
out Chris has been burning MIG wire for 25 years, you begin
to understand the level of mastery Chris has achieved.
CODE
premium welds become part of the overall appearance and design
of any CODE4x4 custom fabrication -- you'll be proud to show
them off.
But a weld has to do more than just look good.
If you need that bumper or cage to do its job, this is
fabrication welding you can count on for strength as well as
appearance.
No fabrication shop is complete without an
industrial quality tube bender. Our Hossfeld creates bends
that are accurate, strong, and good looking. We're known for
our expertise with steel tube fabrication.
Bring your ideas for
a custom tube bumper, cage, or anything else and let us make
your dream a reality.
Our incredible tooling doesn't end with our
bender. If any tool is the center of our
fab operation, our Uni-Hydro Iron Worker would be it. This machine
makes custom fabricating steel components quick and professional.
Punching holes & slots,
shearing metal and bending are made easy with the Iron Worker's
45 tons of hydraulic power. We use this tool to make everything
from custom bracketry to U-bolt mounting plates -- with outstanding
factory looking results that'll make your rig stand out -- and
hold together!
Along with standard shop tools such as drill
presses, grinders and the like, we also use a plasma-cutter
and band saw in our fabrication department, along with numerous
custom built jigs and clamps for accurate welding procedures.
More, to keep costs down we have also developed
efficient methods of painting our fabrications -- or we
can send your custom parts out for a thick powder coat or factory-like
color that can easily match any OEM shade. Gleaming shine or
utilitarian black, we'll get it done to your specifications.
