Ford 9 inch axle in Jeep YJ Wrangler

The CODE Wrangler on our shop hoist, new front axle at full droop.
Our facility has two high quality hosts that help keep our work efficient and enjoyable. 		After a bit of thought, this is the way Chris decided to attach the springs to the axle housing. Using the stubby square U-bolts keeps the underside of the housing clean.

This method of U-bolt attachment worked well since the Currie High Pinion 3rd member was so close to the leaf spring.

 

 

Finished product on the (too flat) ground. Chris will take it out and get it all dirty and scratched-up soon! When he does, We'll post more pics of it in action. He's got to get his new front bumper and winch back on first!
